How to receive rent support in urban regeneration

How to receive rent support in urban regeneration

Rent support is a monthly payment made to owners after a building with a final risk decision is vacated. Applications open once the building is empty and the demolition permit is issued.

Application Requirements

To receive the payment the building must be registered as risky, the owner must have lived in or let the flat, and the application must be filed within the deadline.

  • A final risk assessment report
  • Completed vacating and demolition permit
  • Complete title deed and identity documents
  • A single application per unit

How Long Does It Last?

The payment is planned for the construction period, up to eighteen months. The amount follows a provincial table updated each year.

We run the process on the owner’s behalf: the application file, missing-document follow-up and payment queries are handled from one hand.

Points to Consider

Applications filed before the vacating date are rejected. Bank details must be in the owner’s name, and powers of attorney must be kept current.
